Client wanted a unique space for home entertainment. From the exterior façade with the appearance of numerous paint layers, the thin brick walls, relaimed wood flooring, no detail was left out when creating this pub. Each new board used was hand distressed, stain glass designed and fabricated and antiques sourced to make this space a truly one of a kind home pub.
Using existing logo, mural painted for Johnny’s Half Shell Adams Morgan location. Thin brick was first installed to help give the historic feel to the piece.
Walls, ceiling, counter and mural were part of this project to give the new space a unique environment. Playing off it’s history as the 14th St Post Office, the counter was created to look like it is original to the space and mailboxes were fabricated for tray stands.
Thin brick installed at the Market Place at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore. Murals then designed and painted.
Abrecht Design installed the thin brick, then whitewashed the brick. Two Bavarian style lions were painted on the surface. Guests are greeted with a 10’ tall lion installed on the wall with beer caps.The Annapolis restaurant is located in the Lowe’s hotel.
Using thin brick and lime plaster, the walls of Congressional Seafood/Nafco”s office were aged to give the old warehouse converted to office feel. Murals were painted throughout including a 15’x75’ fish mural in the form of the US flag.
Updated existing home bar. Thin brick, reclaimed wood floor, trim installed then all new/existing surfaces painted and glazed to appear as a warm, aged wood. Pub front constructed to make the space an inviting place for entertainment.

The Charles restaurant and bar in Baltimore’s Federal Hill neighborhood. Two murals painted, a white brick wall was painted to bring back the rich colors of the aged brick. A wall was constructed to appear as a left over from the industrial age complete with a bulky sliding door. The wall was painted in the restaurants signature black and white checker design.
